Who is Captain Scam?

Captain Scam is a hard hitting, No BS scam fighting superhero.

Andy (Captain Scam) was once an ordinary man, he lived a simple life, he was hard working and dedicated to his family and friends. He was especially loyal to his company, a research facility trying to change the world, he wasn't highly paid but he loved his job and dedicated most of his life to the company.

DC Design and Engineering was a facility that was trying to make a difference in the world, they worked effortlessly on trying to develop new technologies that would change the world and help the police force in their duties.

They were involved in making truth serums that could easily be applied to criminals to get the truth out of them, Non harmful stun guns to take the criminals down, super serums to make the force stronger and have more energy and much much more.

Because of their high involvement with the cops, DC Engineering was not a very liked company and often had a lot of death threats against the top executives. Countless reports of vandalism, attacks on their delivery trucks and a few scares at the company became part of daily life. But they never thought it would get this far....

Working as a research assistant, Andy often had to put in some extra hours at the lab to try and finish off the latest invention, Andy had no problem with this as he loved his job but this would be a night he would never forget.

On this night Andy was working on a new chemical, NX32, this chemical was used to help the police force with strength, agility, speed and help build up their immune system. The chemical needed a new release system as the force was complaining that they didn't like the taste of the serum when they had to ingest it.

Half way through his formula, he was rudely interrupted by the town gang who was hired to cause a bit more destruction of the property that night, however they didn't anticipate anyone to be there tonight but when they came across Andy in the lab, things went horribly wrong.

They started assaulting Andy and asking where the rest of the serum was kept, but Andy knew that if this got into the wrong hands there would be massive chaos in his city. So he did what any true hero would do, he lied and gave them the wrong formula, noticing the difference the gang beat Andy up, threw him across the room and left him near for dead.

To cover up their tracks, the gang decided to set fire to the lab, if they couldn't get the serum, then no one would.

Beaten senselessly Andy managed to use what little strength he had to crawl over to the secret vault in the lab where they kept all the chemicals. This room was almost indestructible and Andy knew that if he had any chance of surviving this that this would be his best bet. He crawled mercifully through the wreckage, the searing heat burning at his skin but the will to survive was strong.

He eventually made it to the room, stepped up to close the door when the chemicals in the next room caught alight and exploded, slamming the door closed and hurtling Andy across the room and into the shelving of the engineered serums.

Andy slammed to the floor, shelving collapsing on top of him and trapping him beneath the rubble. At this point the new serum he had been working on crashed onto the table and started mixing with the truth serum, the serum started to turn a menacing purple and blue and slowly edged of the counter and into the direction of Andy.

Trapped and unable to move, Andy was directly beneath the table and the serum started to flow off the counter and into Andy's face, mouth and nose, forever changing Andy and giving birth to a new superhero.

After a week of miraculously recovering, Andy was released from hospital but not as the Andy we once knew. Andy had a new ability to his amazement, he could not lie. Although this may seem as a shock to some, Andy enjoyed it, he also had the strange ability to sense when something was just not right. A sense similar to Spiderman's "spider sense", he could just tell if someone was trying to do him over, if he was being overcharged a bill, if a product was not what it was marketed as or if someone was up to no good.

Andy had to find out more, he had to find out what had happened to him and what was going on with his body. After months of searching Andy finally came across the Headquarters of WA. They took him in under there wing and started to teach him how to hone his skills, how to use his new powers for the better of mankind and they even created a suit for him. Here Captain Scam was born...

With his new abilities Captain Scam vowed to rid the earth of the Scammers around the world, help guide people to the truth and ensure no man or women was scammed of their hard earned money ever again.

Captain Scam, the hero of truth and justice on the net....

Each week Captain scam will be scouting the earth to see if he can find others like him or villains hiding beneath the dark waiting to pounce.
