A Test Run Of Premium Plus (Part 2)

Hi, guys so I upgraded to Premium Plus a few weeks ago to learn what is on offer.

What I found are a lot of live classes on topics that are not covered at the premium level. That was the good part.

While I appreciate the fact that video lesson has become the way to go. There are still areas in this world where streaming live means lots of buffering.

Should you do like I do and use the videos after they are uploaded they can still buffer from time to time and use a lot of bandwidth.

I typically avoid all live classes.

Additionally, I believe one of the best selling points for premium is the step-by-step organization of lessons with actionable tasks.

The fact that members are joining at different times would ensure that they are able to fall in at any stage and still follow the lessons and build their business in an easily comprehensive manner.

I personally prefer the videos to be accompanied by written lessons and still pictures because when I need to go back through the content to find something in particular I just go through the written part because it is easier and faster.

I hope that in time written classes can also be added.

Be sure to like comment and share. Let me know what you think of this.

My Two cents.

Thank you for these posts on your experience with PP.
By the way, Similarly to you, I find videos tedious at times and much slower to learn from. Too much slush, not enough info to the point and difficult to re-find specific bits. I much prefer written tutorials.
:-)
Richard

Hi Richard,
On point. Exactly why I dislike them.

Thank you for stopping by and for your valuable comment.

Have a great weekend.

Hi Candy,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Premium Plus.

I went P+ about two months, and been testing it out. So far, I'm loving it and enjoy the additional classes. I'm ready to start paying the monthly membership next month.

I want to learn more about brainstorming better content ideas, content marketing, and get my hands deep into SEO. SEO is a skill I want to master and be great at, even if its more technical and time-consuming. So these classes have been valuable in P+.

I'm not a fan of live classes, so I don't mind watching the recorded sessions.

I agree with you on having written lessons similar to what we get for OEC & boot camp. That would be nice to have as well.

It's great to hear your thougjts on P+. Thanks again for sharing :)

All the best,

Eric

Hi Eric, it is really great to hear from those who are loving the upgrade.

Those classes are indeed very useful if you work well with video classes.

Thank you for stopping by and for sharing.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi Candy,

The "live" classes are not really live.
They are pre-recorded and the class facilitators lead the discussions and answer questions as it rolls.

This took some getting used to for me but I quite enjoy them now.
You actually have more meaningful time with the presenters.

I do agree that having the write up will be an effective addition.
Although, I am a note-taker which helps me to retain.

Thank you for sharing your findings.

I trust that it will encourage other members to do the same.

Cassi

Hi Cassi,
Thank you for your input.

That's interesting. I don't attend live at all, so I don't participate in interaction in reruns.

However the fact that Jay is able to shout-out to participants and read comments does make it appear live however.

I'm happy that live classes are a good fit for you.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Candy Benn

Candy, Jay is live but the other Premium+ classes are recorded.

The "live" element is being able to interact with the presenter in the chat.

You also.
Have a great weekend.

Cassi

You too Cassi.

Take care.

Have a good week, Candy.

Thank you Cassi,

The same to you.

You are welcome, Candy.

I didn't go for premium+ because I really couldn't afford the extra monthly fee. But I do agree with you. I have trouble with videos without a written version. I have seen some titles that I would like to know more about and I'm disappointed that they are not available to all without having to dig in your pocket for more green stuff.
I don't like live classes .There seems to be too much chit chat between lesson material. I get fidgety because there is too much going on that isn't subject material.
You are right. Some of that material is critical for all of us and a written version would be so helpful to have. If I have a written version of the video training, I'll skip the video; or I'll go back after I've read the material and then look at the video.
Thanks for bringing this up for discussion.

Hi Barbara,
I hear you. Money is tight everywhere these days. I like to know that when I put my money on something the returns will be worth the while.

I'll tell you this by following the leaders in these different areas you do get some value free of cost, so don't give up.

I've picked up a lot just subscribing to their email lists, reading their blogs and following their YouTube Channel.

Additionally if you check the home page you may see that there is a free monthly membership available to you.

Thank you for your input.

Have a great day.

Excellent Post & Share Candy. You bring up some valuable points that I didn’t think of. Those are very important to the success or failure of the Premium Plus level of training. It has come to me in thought a number of times looking at members versions, how many are correct. Numbers don’t mean anything if there are some that aren’t correct. Without a verification process they may not be as useful as one thinks. Maybe if a requirement to make these videos that a non plagiarism verification written copy be submitted for approval to make the video. This would reduce the numbers going forward but increase the authenticity of the information. Just a thought. Good job!

Edward

Hi Edward,

Thank you for stopping by and for your comment.

Do you usually attend live classes? If so how often?

Candy Benn

Only when I feel that it is something that can help me today & even then if I have something that is more important I skip. Personally, I like the reruns better because, when the individual goes off on a tangent/mistake i am out of it. I have issues to deal with that don't help. I have 2 screens so I put the video on one and my project on the other, and go play and stop till I have everything corrected.

Edward, I also like to be able to stick my video so I can complete the required tasks.

I find it much easier than playing the entire video then trying to remember what was said.

You have a great day.
