30 yrs. Its been 30yrs since this fresh faced teenager walked into the crazy world of kitchen life. Its been a wonderful journey meeting some of the most dedicated, passionate and creative people all over the world.....not to mention some of the craziest.From 5 star hotels to a small family run bistro ive worked in them all and all have one thing in common, there is always a crazy one.From the night manager who decided it would be ok to serve The Boss (im talking about the rock singer here) who was staying at a 5star hotel and wanted burgers and fries for him and his crew after playing a concert in Dublin at 1am in the morning mcDs on a plate. yep he sent one of the kitchen porters down and ordered 30 big ones and fries. Might have gotten away with it if he had instructed the kitchen porter to take them out of the wrapper.To the trainee who used salt instead of sugar on 500 donuts just before they were going out on a buffet. So next time you are sitting waiting on your meal,take a look around ,see if You can spot the crazy.You never know I might meet you there :)
