Sent My Resume to our Interim Human Resources Director

I've sent about 70 resumes out so far to various law firms and accounting firms. The Interim HR Director was talking to my supervisor and I knew his name, so I thought, why not send him my resume?

I sent him my resume and said in my email that I have a Master's degree in Adult Education summa cum laude. And that my co-worker who also was not picked up by Clyde & Co. is a very hard worker and that together with my supervisor we make a very good team.

Then I wished him good travels because I knew he was on his way to our Miami office.

So next week I will hope to hear from him and see if it made any difference. Can't hurt to at least try.

With every effort, you hope a job will be offered. Having hope is the key. You do not have to experience one of life's calamities to know how important hope is.

Let us know which job you take. Meanwhile, the affiliate marketing route adds to your resume, can augment your income, and may help sustain you.

The work in WA can take your mind off the employment drill. Mention how you are using this time to prep your skills, showing an advantage to the prospective employer in your future work.

Never know unless you try.

Good luck with your bricks and mortar Debra!

Best of luck. Creative thinking and action.

You have a great attitude, Debra. Thanks for sharing. We are always rooting for you.
