Kansas City Has Its First Snowfall of the Season
Last night while everyone was sleeping, we got our first snowfall of Winter. It's only about 2 inches, but I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere.
I took the dog out this morning and my two cats followed. It was amusing to watch them play in the snow. One was batting at it, and because it was a dry snow, the powder bounced with each bat of his hand. Soon he looked like he was playing drums and running around in the snow.
It was an abbreviated walk so that snow wouldn't build up under my dog's feet and turn to ice.
