Another Snow Day
Overnight we got a good two inches of snow. The sun is melting it from the roads, but it was nice to sleep in.
I've been applying online to jobs, and some of the applications are very lengthy. I always feel like I've accomplished something when I get done.
Generally, I'll be happy just to get medical benefits. Some of my medications are $1,000 per month, but I can't just quit taking them. I tried that the last time I was unemployed, and I didn't sleep for a week. No kidding. Then I found that some of my meds are not that expensive without insurance. So I finally got into a pattern of deep sleep again.
I made the mistake the last time of taking an early retirement and moving from Kansas City to Houston, TX. Long story short, no one would hire me and I came back to KC.
I was able to get a job right away. I'm hoping for that to happen again. I've applied to at least 70 vacancies. Some of them 2nd shift, which I'm used to.
My granddaughter's fraternal grandfather is visiting for the first time. He sounds like he is having a good time. He looks just like his son.
Life goes on, as it should.

Good for you that you are submitting so many applications. Make sure your resume fits each position. Use the words that they've used in their job description in your experience. Many of those online applications are initially reviewed electronically, looking for those keywords, so unless you use those specific words you'll never get to the next round. Stay strong!
If challenges shape us and make us stronger, you are going to be even more amazing than you already are. You have a very resilent attitude that is going to allow you to help others via the affiliate marketing business that you are building.
P.s. I think I got some of your snow today. About two inches. Although I dislike cold, I'm glad the storm saved some for us because we really need the moisture here Iin Colorado.
