Incorporating Advertising versus Affiliate Marketing
Is advertising using Google Adsense actually sensible? I realized this as I was putting my first AdSense code to my website during the last lesson.
I was wondering if the advertising was going to take some of the clicks away from my affiliate links? I am not one to actually question the lessons here at WA.
Now, just a few lessons later Kyle brings up whether I want to be making pennies, or dollars? That is a big difference, although my specific product niche has products listed between $25-$70.
Even my most expensive affiliate link on my first website here is $235, which would earn much more money than clicks on advertisements.
Although, the $235 product I have listed may not be as popular as the combination of all other products between $25-$70. So in the end, it leaves me wondering.
Do you use Ads on most website pages/posts,
or scatter them few and far between?
Please comment on your specific situation.
Thank you,
David L.

Think about what YOU like. Do you want to stay on a website that has more ads than content? I don't.
Too many sites out there to get what I want without being subjected to unending ads.
Exactly Bryan, what is with all the ads sometimes!?
Part of me loves the idea of sharing my page with the ads. I just don't want people to think I am a scam.

I don't use ad sense so I couldn't tell you much but I will say this I would scatter them throughout your site just so Google doesn't think you are stuffing your site with links.
That is a very good point thanks, it will take some rearranging of my site, but if Google prefers it I will.
You are so very welcome and no problem.
