A cautionary tale about plugins
Ok so I was up very late working away on my site when I had the bright idea to bring the trust rating up on my site by adding an SSL plugin. Well I installed it and Baam, I can no longer log into my admin. My blood pressure went through the roof and I was about to throw myself from the train (so to speak). Turns out that when I clicked a button to protect my admin sign in I locked myself out. I thought I crashed my site and lost a months worth of work.
"I absolutely LOVE Wealthy Affiliate!"
Well needless to say I absolutely LOVE Wealthy Affiliate! It took them exactly 4 minutes to respond to my support ticket and I didn't lose a thing. lf I was with another hosting site it could have taken days and a whole lot of pencil chewing.
So the moral of the story is Wealthy Affiliate rocks and be very careful about what plugins you install on your site.
I also had a whale of a time setting up a subscribe form with MailChimp, turns out it doesn't work well with most form plugins, so I just got the MailChimp Plugin for wordpress and BINGO, success!
Thanks for reading everyone
