Where is the password box in creating a new user?
Went to add a new user in WP today. No big deal. I do it all the time. Today, there is no password box so it will not let me create a new user. I have tried deactivating plugins
In the WP dashboard under Users add new user. It alway had a place to determine a new user and a password. Now the password box is completely missing. This is also the case for current users if you went in to edit that user. I do not know whay these disappeared all of a sudden and it happened on all three of my sites. If you go to your dashboard you will see the difference between my screen and yours. You will notice a place to put in a password. Mine is gone.
I just went on mine and it is also missing, I even created a fictious user to see if one came up in their edit page and there is no place to create a password that is kind of strange. Unless it is generated like it did on me with Site Rubix Manage site tab
I think WA might be doing this. I do not like this because I have an outside support team that I create a temporary password for often so they look at some code or help me with code. Now I have to have them go through WA to access it. I do not like to give outsiders acces to my WA account.

if you had your site setup that anyone can register that is not good hackers love it when newbies do this. Go to settings> general and check it.
When your website is beginning to rank well, you find that bots register with your website. Even captcha doesn't stop them all.
As for the Been cheatin page, I wouldn't worry about it. If you're logged into your site you get a bar at the top. It gave you that page because WP thought it was loaded insecurely. re-loading it resent the request again which showed the page for a "Logged in" user.

Hi Guys,
I am using a paid front end plugin. For each site I have to open a support ticket from the Plugin designer and let them activate it. They say this is because the
Activating the usage of curl needs activation of a php module, which usually can't be activated by client especially in shared hosting services. You need to contact your hosting company and ask them to activate curl. Not all will, but most that I've used has activated it by request.
I need info to activate a plugin?

Just a quick update - I forgot about the WA platform - I not 100% sure if it lets you edit the apache database. Im going to find out though.
Whether it does or not though, I hope someone is able to benefit from my post. Have a nice day. :)
If previous 7 steps dont work, try creating a simple script like this:
// reinitialize curl resource
$ch = curl_init();// set url
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, “domain.com”);
//return the as a string
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1);
// echo output string
$output = curl_exec($ch);
echo $output;
// close curl resource to free up system resources
curl_close($ch);
If your on UNIX, type this:
php -i | grep curl
That should do it. :)
You can enable CURL by doing this:
1. Locate your PHP.ini file
(normally located at in the bin folder of your apache install e.g.
2. Open the PHP.ini in notepad
3. Search or find the following : ‘;extension=php_curl.dll’
4. Uncomment this by removing the semi-colon ‘;’ before it
5. Save and Close PHP.ini
6. Restart Apache
7. HAVE FUN! :)

Ok, well I'm not sure how Siterubix handles these. Disabling cUrl by default is a security measure so I understand why it's disabled. I don't think they would enable cUrl permanently. You can always open a support ticket asking this though. :)

This is not relevant to my issue, But thanks.
