i saw this plug in http://codecanyon.net/item/woozone-amazon-associates-b

I bought this pack several months ago and have set up an amazon affiliates website, There were a few issues at the start but I resolved those and all was going well until woocommerce updated their plugin earlier this month. Since then I've had some code conflicts but managed to resolve most of them, including speed issues and image displays on the home and shop pages.

When the plugins are running smoothly it is a fantastic way to populate and run an amazon affiliate ecommerce store.

You can review my website at http://www,synergyweld.com and I'd love to hear your feedback.

I don't host this website with WA as the hosting options here are too limited. For supposedly wordpress hosting experts they are running scared of most wordpress plugins, which rather defeats the object of using wordpress. Plus I love cPanel and the flexibility it provides.

Hi there! Your link appears to be bad.

Mikey

Hello,

You just showed me the solution for all my wishes...
I was already testing with the Woocommerce plugin and combine plugins to get result like an autorefresh ans stuff like that, but the one you mention is just everything in one and it has great comments:

http://codecanyon.net/item/woozone-amazon-associates-bundle-pack/11240475/comments

I also want to mention that you have a completely adapted theme included... They call it the kingdom theme, but actually they refer to the creator of the theme...
https://www.themeskingdom.com/wordpress-themes
When you check their price for 1 theme it is already $25.
(and that is not expensive, a studiopress theme is easy $99)

So when I make the bill for myself, I would immediately buy the plugin integrated with all the other plugins, together with a theme that is created for this plugin... I think you will gain so much time with this, you will not regret. And as you see in the comments you also have support on it...

I would buy it immediately, when my affiliate program was amazon, but it isn't. :-)
(Damn.)
My idea is combining several programs but actually it is already in the fridge and will probably end in the freezer...

And when I start with something where Amazon is my affiliate AND I want to display a lot of products, really like a webshop, I would immediately buy this plugin.

When your goal is to only display one amazon product/page, you do not need this.

So, if you will use the features it has, I just would buy it...

Grtz,
Bert

Thank you Bert, i ll let you know you if I buy it how it goes
Have a good day and thank you for the time you dedicated to me

Your Welcome!

I still think you really should get it when you want to build a real E-shop, but in the meanwhile I noticed some disadvantages, but that concerns every plugin of Woocommerce.
Since November they changed a few things... Like their shipping options are more or less gone, you need http://www.woothemes.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/shipping-methods/ to have them...

Grtz,
Bert

dear bert, i got the plugin but i cant use it herein wa, because
this plugin require one time or time to time connection to the remote server and here is forbidden... so i waisted my money and i am going to loose a lot of time charging products one by one unless i don t want to change hosting, but as i am already paying here the premium i feel that is stupid... whats your suggestion?

Hi darias, I just found this post. I found the same "bundle" but I only wanted the "woocommerce amazon affiliate" plugin, not the whole bundle, so I was going to buy it without getting the bundle. It seems to be just what I need, but I was reading your post. I don't understand how this "bundle" or set of plugins was a waste of money for you. You mentioned it requires a "one time" or "time to time" connection to the remote server which is forbidden in wa. Can you tell me which plugin you experienced this with? Was this the result of a conversation you had with tech support at wa? Thanks! -Leslie

Is there any change since then?

Hello, I see I did not replay your last question anymore, I must have missed that between the other. .. Sorry about that...

I remember actually I have been looping for a solution for this but did not find anything immediately...

I will check this again and use the comment below as reminder in my mailbox... ;-)

Hi Leslie... see other comment...

Ok, thanks! I'll keep a lookout!! -Leslie

Hello, please check my other comment....

Hello,

I do not find an immediate solution for your problem...
What I did find was a great alternative, which is very affordable...
http://www.one.com/en/

I think for €1,5/month you should have enough...
To be honest, when I run into a problem with my site like you did, I will move it without any doubt to one.com.
They are not only very cheap, they also have a good name/quality...
And you are in control of you site, also the "background", Of course, they provide support...

I would check first if they can cover your needs, so you are sure that when you join everything will be OK...

Grtz,
Bert

Hi Bert,

Thank you so much for researching this and spending the time!!!! I think what I will do is put this website aside for a bit. It's not really an urgent thing for me to "load massive amounts of amazon products" into my website and I think that is the issue with this plugin for wa. I'm working with a partner on that website and it's a backburner project anyway. I'll come back to it later to see if we really want to do that and move to a different place to host the site. Bottomline, though, I am sooooo glad I found this post and you looked into this information for me so I didn't spend the money!! Thanks again so much!!! Have a great holiday season!! (if you celebrate around this time) :) -Leslie

You are very welcome Leslie!
Yes, we do have the same holiday over here... :-)

Grtz

sorry for replying so late...
it was waste of money because its forbidden to use it having your page hosted on wa.
below the answer i got :
We block certain plugins that can create security vulnerabilities to our hosting service and to your website. There are some plugins (those that require an outbound connection) that are not a good idea to have running on your site as they can actually crash your site.

We are not willing to jeopardize the quality of our hosting service for plugins like this (nor does any proper wordpress host). If you paid for this plugin you may want to consider getting a refund

Hello,

To be honest : I do feel a little bit bad about my positive reaction 2 months ago... Cause when I check the latest comments: It look like this is is a very bugy plugin! Sorry...
I know that 2 months ago there was already some doubt, but because of the fix they just put in the plugin...
My opinion: the plugin is even worse since then...

What I do have: I have bought an amazon theme in the meanwhile...
(not that expensive and also: it is now a young male, we have to see he is gone by his 2-3 years.)

You can check it on
http://howtosolvewordpressproblems.com/

I will PM you a password and username of an administrator, so you can check the theme.... (Can you deliver me a mail address that you can easily access?)
I think most of the functions you need are build in, of course I don't know if it will work in WA.... :-(

Check also:

http://azontheme.net/

(Kingdom is nr1, so it cannot be that bad no... (?) )

Anyway; I think that according to the feedback of support, you will never be able to host an Amazon store in Wordpress...
I don't know if that is the correct conclusion..

Grtz,
Bert

Hi Bert, I'm replying to your last post for me to check out a couple of things. You can send me stuff to harrisot8@gmail.com. If the last thing we looked at is buggy, (WooCommerce Amazon Affiliate) then I definitely don't want to take a chance. I have the Amazon Product in a Post plugin. It seems to work fine for posts and pages, but even though it shows all the Amazon parameters when adding a new “Product” through WooCommerce, it won’t show up on my “Shop” page where my products show up. It seems like it should work, but maybe I need the “purchased” version of the Simple Shop theme, was one thought I had that might be the solution. What I would like to do is add Amazon products through the WooCommerce plugin, but maybe I would be better off just making separate pages with Amazon products. I wanted my “Shop” page to include products that were both organic (my own products) and Amazon products. However, there would be 2 different “carts” in that case, Amazon’s and mine. So maybe I should talk to people who mix their products to see what they advise, because there would be 2 credit card transactions. Do you know how people handle this kind of thing? Here’s my site (my test site)woodenhorsetradingpost.siterubix.com The free version of the Simple Shop theme (slocum studios) makes the products very big. I hear you have to buy the Pro version to be able to manipulate the size, so I will probably be buying the pro… -Thank you! Leslie

Hello Leslie,

I don't understand your problem actually?

I have the impression that the 8 items display fine....
Do I check the wrong thing?

Grtz,
Bert

Hi Bert, I changed my theme and you probably looked at the new one. I like it better (it's "Storefront" as opposed to "Simple Shop"). I just finally got so frustrated with Simple Shop, I gave up. Now I'll try with Storefront and see if I have the same issues with Amazon Product in a Post. With Simple Shop, the products were showing up very large and it looked immature, if that makes sense. I'll test the Amazon plugin and let you know if it works any better in this theme. Thanks for checking!!!!
-Leslie :)

Ok, good luck!

If your main profit would be promoting WA that might be difficult, because WA is only in English.

However, if you're going to profit from ads (Hopefully in Italian) and products from other affiliate programs you might be better off working in your strengths. What kind of affiliate programs and ads services are available in Italian?

How is important to do the website in english?
