Hey everyone! I have an idea that that may help you set a very achievable goal, and stay motivated on your journey for online success!

The idea is setting a goal with Alexa. Alexa basically ranks websites based on monthly traffic and number of page views. The lower your Alexa rank is, the better!

Some affiliate networks will only accept websites with an Alexa ranking of 3 million or lower, which makes it a great goal to strive for. The reason this is a great goal is because you can check your Alexa rank while you publish new content, and actually see your rank go down! Having something visual is extremely important for me, otherwise I tend to lose interest in my goals. Here's an example of how effective this goal is:

My first website, wealthystudentonline is around 4 months old now and I haven't published any new content in almost 2 months. It's Alexa ranking is 14 million.

My new website, sosaxxy is just over a month old and I try and publish new content every week. It's Alexa ranking is already 11 million!

The affiliate network I'm trying to join informed me that it takes most websites about 3-6 months to achieve an Alexa rank of 3 million or lower. Just think about how awesome and professional your website will look after 6 months!!! Any affiliate network would be happy to accept you, and you could take advantage of premium banners and special discounts for your customers!
