It's a numbers game.kind of
I've been spending a lot of time doing marketing and sales training, and trying out what I learn on prospects. Being a technician by trade, this stuff doesn't come naturally to me. It's been fun yet challenging because I've found that it's both a numbers game and not a numbers game at the same time.
I'm expecting somewhere in the range of 100 leads per sale for my cold market in the beginning, while I perfect my system, and 20 per sale for my warm market. This is what my associates have seen for newbs llike myself in our niche. Once I have the system down I should expect to see 20 per lead (cold) and 5 per lead (warm). So, it's a numbers game.
What blew my mind when I heard it for the first time was that it's not JUST a numbers game. There is a fine art to advertising, marketing, and closing a sale. You have to UNDERSTAND your market as well. What does that mean? That means you have to know them better then they themselves do! What are their pain points? What are their fears, hopes? Find out what they want and give them THAT!

Great point here. You definitely have to have more than just "high numbers"
