Is there a better email autoresponder than AWeber?

I'd like to call the attention to a really cool email responder I came across. I signed up with Aweber a while back and it was just tedious for me to use their interface and the whole website setting. I wasted a couple of months paying for a membership I didn't give any use to until I got tired of it. I came across Mailchimp because of an email from Elegant Themes autoresponder. (Sign up for Elegant Themes emails if you have the chance, they're extremely informative. I was instantly hooked with them).
I recently read an old blog post by one of our members which he said in a polite way that Mailchimp "[sucked]". This was 2 years ago and by the looks of it, things changed on Mailchimp. They no longer have that "no affiliate marketers" ban and they're more concerned about the spamming that you may cause.
The set up is just ridiculously easy. Just Grab and drop anything you want. It does not make your computer lag or leave you with a funky bug after messing around with it (happened to me too many times on AWeber).
It is absolutely free to join and test the waters. I loved the fact that you can upgrade whenever you're ready unlike Aweber that makes you join for $1 dollar and starts charging you $20 bucks after.

This blog post is really intended for members who haven't yet set up an email autoresponder and for the "out of the box members" who are brand new and are experimenting with their autoresponder options. What better way to experiment for free and get the hang of how to use an email responder without spending a dime until you're ready. Even at that, Mailchimp only charges $10 as their least expensive plan.
You might have Aweber or another email autoresponder running on your website already if you're an experienced WA member, so switching to another autoresponder would turn out a huge hassle.
Like I mentioned above, this blog post is for brand new members who are barely getting their hands dirty so they have a chance to learn without spending so much on a service they don't use.

Am not a fan of the complex world of auto responders, find them impersonal and time consuming. Just use the one within gmail as an initial one. Once a real person who has real interest is identified the best is direct response with needed information selected to satisfy individual need. I do use madmimi.com or vertical response.com to create individualized responding.
However, creating easy to follow, easily read and easy access content with natural comments on your website attracts return of real people which is the primary goal of a successful growing business. ^_~
I honestly find the email autoresponder set up very tedious. But if it help with more traffic and more conversions it is absolutely worth it.
Perhaps you have missed my point love. YOU create the traffic and conversion, not an autoresponder. I unsubscribe from a site using autoresponders, finding them spam, not personal and less inclined to tell anyone about the site.
Perhaps am ancient, but word of mouth advertising is a much more powerful tool than an autoresponder.^_~

from my experience only, the 2 top recommended auto responders are A-Weber and Get Response. They seem to be the most responsive.
I will recommend a 3rd option -- that is Free for Life -- it is ReachMail http://www.reachmail.net/
I use it and am very pleased with it.
