Absolutely. Having been around the internet marketing space since 2009, I can tell you without any thought that nothing beats great content. Even long before Google penalized blackhat SEO, Content was the way.
I love that line: You want people to read the words on the page and be so impressed that they have no choice but to share on social media. I agree that's when I share something, no matter the topic. Excellent blog, now I'm heading over read the rest . . .
Thanks Sarah.. That is a strong line. Unfortunately, I cannot say to anyone that s/he will get that experience with every content published. If your readers were so impressed even 50% of the time, that's some massive success right there.

Hey Dan, I was interested in reading your article here and I clicked on your link "The Story Continues Here. How to create content" and it took me to a "Nothing Here"/blank website with no content... I did find that kind of funny though...LOL! Just thought you might like to know if you didn't already.
