This is Who I am

Hello I'm Dan, and I’d like to (re) introduce myself:

Growing up in the heat of the Liberian civil war, I saw firsthand what happens when people in positions of power don't act courageously to make unpopular decisions that benefit the greater good.

By age 10, I had seen so much death that it was normal. My friends and I played soccer (football) with human skulls because they were all around us.

Very early on in my life, I knew I wanted to help create a world positively different from the one I was growing up in. And that fueled my desire to work with the leaders who make the decisions that shape our world.
For the past 10 years, I've run an independent business, career, and leadership consulting practice with clients including senior aides in the Office of the President of Liberia, senior staff in various government ministries and agencies, and executives of projects run by the major international development and philanthropic organizations of the world.
My clients are usually mid to high-level leaders working in Government and International Development and the business executives & entrepreneurs who interact with them on a regular basis. They're on a mission to create a better world not just for themselves, but for future generations. They're driven by a vision so powerful, it sometimes scares them.

But there's a problem:
You see, most high-level leaders in politically charged environments unconsciously give away their power in trying to fit in, or be in good graces with the powers that be; often sacrificing their integrity, compromising their values, and losing sight of their vision in the process.When these leaders remember how powerful they really are, they immediately step into that power to find the courage, their voice, and the confidence to create the results that truly matter to them and their organizations.
They become better equipped to drive actions that help their organizations achieve strategic objectives, enhance leadership capability, and create culture change.I believe in a passionate, mindful, tolerant, and more inclusive world; where a country’s people – an organization’s clients, employees, leaders, and stakeholders all feel accepted, appreciated, engaged, and valued.This is the world I’m creating by helping leaders BE better in their organizations and businesses.
My approach to leadership development and coaching is highly successful because it places a strong emphasis on involving coworkers, implementing change, and follow-through to measure growth in leadership effectiveness.
Through deep, transformative coaching, I help my clients reclaim that power, so they show up courageously for themselves, with confidence, to make the decisions, and take the actions necessary-no matter how unpopular- for creating the world they've envisioned, without sacrificing their integrity or compromising their values.
