One month in. The mist is fadeing
Well I have been Premium member for almost a month and I am starting to see the light ...well at least it is not as dark. My first site ( livewithoutgout.com ) is up and running and starting to get some views. I need to work on getting better images and increasing traffic. I have a list of some future content for my site and I am working on having several articles on file so I can put them out as needed.
I have not made it through all the training lessons yet but i think I will go back, in between new lessons, and start reviewing some of the past lessons as I know there was a lot that did not sink in. I think my writing is getting better, at least it is getting easier.
I am starting to get the hang of making changes to my site. I used to do some small websites about 15-20 years ago but I had forgotten most of it. It has been fun diving back in. If I can increase my traffic and get my rankings up I have a couple more ideas for new websites that I want to try.I have found a lot of great information here...maybe too much.I have got sucked into a lot of training and blogs, it is sometimes a bit overwhelming trying to sort through everything that is available here to find what I need at the moment. Hopefully some of it is sticking in my head somewhere.......now if I could just find it when I need it.
Darin.

Congratulations :) WordPress is really awesome to work with, and going back through training to refresh is never a bad thing!
Thanks. I hope things are going well for you. Things are getting easier and harder at the same time...just gotta push through.
You are right.. it's so easy to lose focus so what I do is keep my dreams and goals written down where I can see them while I'm working.
