Hi Wealthy Affiliate crew... just hoping someone could give me some feedback on my first page of my new site?

You have an interesting site. I can see it being very popular...great niche.You have an easy conversational style of writing which encourages viewers to stick around.
I think that you could maybe do something different with your header. It is fine the way it is, but maybe a little background color, a unique logo, or a change of font would add a bit of pizazz. I used Canva.com to develop my own simplistic header. I could see a cartoon of different critters in the header with the words "How to do your own pest control" in a cartoon font, chasing them. Silly, I know, but just an example of what I'm saying.
I read over every page in the website and found numerous errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation. Don't sweat it though. I'm sure you can find someone who wouldn't mind acting as a proofreader, freeing you up to do the more important work of creating content. And boy, you will have lots of that in the field you came from.
Overall, you have a very good start. Looking forward to watching how this site develops.
Thanks for the great feedback and advice. I was thinking the same thing about the header :-) Ill take a look at Canav.com tonight as I agree I really need a better logo!
I'll go over the spelling again and I think your right I really do need a proof reader, ill ask my partner from now on. Thanks again for the feedback and good luck in your own business :-)

Great site - Clear - easy to follow - informative.
One thing I see missing that I see that in my view detracts from the site - no contact me page. Otherwise I like it and will be back - i have it bookmarked.

Hi Damon. I would not buy a .co.uk as it is region specific and Kyle teaches us that they do not rank well at all. I would try and add a small word to the domain you want or work on coming up with another one so that you can get a .com or a .org.

Hi Damon, I visited your two posts, in fact there are more I want to read. I love all there. Great theme, which I use myself, and great texts.
I left two comments there, what I write is what I mean: it is good. I bookmarked your site. I shared it on G+ as well.
I see you have link to Amazon and use their pictures. I guess you have affiliate with them. Most of other pictures, if not all, are clickable but do not lead anywhere, so remove this option since it is not needed there.
Too many social icons, it seems you are using two plugins, no need for this. And you use them before and after the text, use before only it is enough. Best luck and be proud for what you have done. Jovo
