Still with the small impatient steps.but now with a hint of uncertainty.

Who knew building a website...or more accurately adding content would be so time consuming. Maybe I should make my points more briefly, maybe I need to be more...clinical in the delivery of what I'm saying....maybe I should just be myself, write it my way and hope that makes for a more user friendly experience.

I begin to doubt myself...are my experiences the same as other people with the same depth of passion for my chosen subject matter? Do I just think about things too much? Have I got enough bacon to make it to the weekend? Ok so the last one is a daily worry for me and nothing to do with tattoos but....well have I got enough?

I'm curious to know if other people found suffered these dilemmas when their site was in it's formative stage (not necessarily about the bacon). Will the tattooed masses pour scorn on my as yet un-finished website? Will those with virgin skin tut and move on to a bullet pointed Facebook post?.....only time will tell. All I know is, right now I can't get no tattisfaction.com.

Still....there's always plan B.

You are a bit like me, I take ages over my writing expecting it to be perfect & taking forever. The reality is, as you learn & get better you'll spot things in earlier posts & you'll update & improve upon them as you go along.
I like to write drafts of my articles in Libre Office (a free Word clone) then I can see how it looks visually, then paste it into Wordpress when I'm content, hope that is of help to you :)

Libre Office? Something else for me to Google lol. Since I posted this I've dived into the world of feedback and I've had some really good responses to what I've written (and some puzzling ones too haha).

It's finding the time to do everything now that's the problem. Ah well, keep goin' wi' yed down!

Libre Office is just like Microsoft Office but free, so you can use it to type out a draft of your posts

Well there ya go! Everyday is a school day.

Cheers.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. I think I might have a night off tonight, take a step back sort of thing. Mind you, I have my kids this weekend and it snowed overnight so...yeh I can't see much getting done over the weekend on my site haha.

As for the title, Angela. It's buggin' me lol. On the plus side, I got lotsa bacon.

The sidebar is better but the title is still cut off on the end :)

Man, that is a serious concern....you gotta have bacon! ;)
You are thinking too much!
Be yourself and write naturally. People will want to connect with you. I know I did. I was hooked from the get go. And not just cuz I love ink.
When you are writing, try to pick your audience - who you are talking to. For me - it's a young single mom around her early 20's. When I write, I'm talking to her every time. She's a friend, someone I want to help with the information I have. Because it's going to help her. Tell some personal stories now and then. You got this ;)

I feel yah. Though my passion is completely different, im sure you have enough.. I don't know anything about tattoos so any content you have is new info for people like me.

I found that when I just let it flow and be myself is when I write faster and produce good content then I just edit it afterwards add in photos and such .

Looks like you have a good start, write about your knowledge as if you were talking to someone about tattoos. Website looks good.
