Well, I'm back in the driving seat after a week of distractions and I've spent the weekend writing content for my website tattisfaction.com and well...it's been emotional.

In building a site that's designed to help untattooed people negotiate their way through the decision making process that either ends in getting ink or not, I've had to drag something out of myself that I didn't expect.

I'd envisaged it being sort of "do this, don't do that, don't go there, leave that alone, etc etc" but what I expected to be a fairly clinical process has become one filled with geniune emotion. I hadn't realised how passionate I was about the art of tattooing, I hadn't realised how hard it had been for me to get that first tattoo done.

My website has become a very personal thing, sharing my views, my struggles, my emotions and my frustrations. It's been.....cathartic. I feel exhausted but, I feel good.

If you're here and reading this I'd be really grateful if you could have a quick look at my site and just share your thoughts from whatever perspective you have on the wonderful world of tattoos. If you're thinking about it would it help you? If you've got them does ring true? If you hate them does it provoke thought?
