Coming up with a niche

have to admit I have had a horrible time coming up with an actual niche. I guess I can't wrap my head around building a website that only covers one item. My thoughts are very broad when it comes to my niche.

I already had a website before I found WA. So I already had some posts and a store set up. I was working on several things at once when it came to finding things to talk about. The Painted Pinecone is a website that has (will) have several things that I have crafted for sale. My main thing is that I paint pinecones and then incorporate them into my projects. I started out with wreaths, and then went on re-purpose wine bottles. From there I started doing macrame and making gnomes.

As you can see, from what I learned from another work-from-home place that I paid for some instruction they taught us to incorporate lots of things into the website. But now that I'm also here, it looks like all of those different things should have been separate websites. My mind is going in so many directions right now, it's enough to drive a girl to drink!

Speaking of my mind going in different directions. It also makes it rather difficult for me to write a post that makes any sort of sense. I really need to stop, empty my mind and only allow one page to be open at a time. I feel like that computer screen that has about 15 different tabs open at the top and none of them are even remotely related to each other.

My Three Month Agenda

In the next three months I will be narrowing down my niche and be working on only having one project going at a time. Since I am working on a very difficult crocheted afghan, I guess I will be posting about that and other types of stitches and whahaventcha (I made that word up and plan to have added to the Websters Dictionary) .

Six Months Down the Road

Well, when I was working with that other place, they gave us different places that we needed to go to gain affiliates. Well I applied to my favorite place, Amazon and was accepted. In order to keep it, they have a rule that at least three items had to be purchased by my visitors within 180 days or I would be deleted.

Ugh, that sounds like an impossibility right now, but I think that if I keep my head down and work hard, it will happen. Right? Yes?

In Closing...

I look forward to being more involved here at WA. I hope to get to know more of you as well as work with you. This seems like a really neat bunch of people that are all working towards a similar goal, and I like being a part of that.

my thoughts exactly with myself lol Now I just reorganising things with what i am passionate about.

Don't be too concerned with Amazon. If you don't make the three sales you can reapply.
I wish you all the best,
Mickey

You don’t have to limit yourself by products, pine cones is a niche.
