Now I am sure you are familiar with this gentleman as he has his hands in so many different pies, over 400 to be exact. He surely enjoys himself being diversified, a trait that I personally love in him. This makes him one of my favorites on the list that I will post here in these 17 -isms.

This -ism relates to our learning curve and how we master a skill, I hope you can relate and find it useful. So let's dig into our Branson-ism as we honor Richard Branson.

"You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over.” Sir Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group

Branson's Virgin Group controls over 400 companies and Forbes in 2017 listed his networth at a cool $5 Billion, that's right Billion with a "B"

Starting his first business at the age of 16 he has never looked back, and in March of 2000 he was knighted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace. Now how cool is that?

But here is a quote from Wikipedia about Branson's younger life. "Branson has dyslexia and had poor academic performance; on his last day at school, his headmaster, Robert Drayson, told him he would either end up in prison or become a millionaire".

Drayson was wrong on both counts, as far as I know Branson has never ended up in prison and he far exceeded Drayson's prediction about becoming a millionaire, but it was a good guess.

The fact that Branson was not the brightest bulb on the tree in school should encourage many of us that were average students, see it isn't always the smart kids that go on to greatness.

His story is an incredible one to say the least and you might want to research him further as you can find some pretty incredible things out about Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson.

But before I go there is yet another trait that this man exhibits that I so admire and desire to share with you.

Branson is known for his casual clothing both at home and in the workplace. he has a disdain for ties, and claims that he often carries around a pair of scissors with me, ready to cut off the tie of any unsuspecting wearer. Now that is my kind of guy, but if I knew I was ever to meet him I surely would wear a tie just so I could say that Richard Branson cut my tie off with a pair of scissors. I love it.

Hope you have found this little ditti about one incredible man to be interesting at least and we will see you in the next millionaire billionaire-ism as we loom at John D Rockefeller. So until then Luv and peace to all.
