Keeping A Customer for Life - Part Two
We all I am sure have a pretty good idea as to how Affiliate Marketing works... We attract a reader to either an email that we have sent out, or to our blog post about a particular product or service that we are promoting. They click on a link and buy the product or service and we as an affiliate make a commission. Yes or Yes?
But, Now that we are here I need to ask a basic question....
WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO BECOME AN AFFILIATE?
Well let me sum it up if I may...
Affiliate marketing is the greatest business that exists today, if you can make it work....
Notice please the last statement... if you can make it work....
So many people struggle with that, and it is not that hard really.
But Affiliate Marketing compared to any traditional business just rocks it!
When compared, to any other online business… it is incredible.
When you're a millionaire affiliate, it feels like you're riding the greatest wave of the seven seas.
In 2017 AFFILIATE MARKETING = will be the #1 profession, and here's why...
• make six figures up and still maintain freedom in your life. Something that I am sure most likely attracted you to it in the first place, I know it did me.
• no customer service, no staff needed (you are a one man/woman show), there is no overheads & low start up costs.
• best of all in my opinion is that the income potential is practically unlimited.
The best parts from my perspective...
• You need no prior online marketing experience - I in this series will lay out some key points for you, step-by-step.
The methods are simple, and may run contrary to popular affiliate techniques. It doesn't matter whether you are a seasoned affiliate, or a complete newbie just getting into the game, the cash will come, but it does require following a plan.
The platform here within Wealthy Affiliate gives us a great education towards that end, and I encourage everyone to make it through the training here, of course following along at your own pace. Take notes and do the exercises as you go. After all if you don't implement what you learn then how will it help you to succeed? If you need further clarification then avail yourself of the Live Chat resource where you will find other members that have been where you are now, and willing to share their experiences with you.
But affiliate marketing is so much more, and as you progress you will find that there are literally a billion different angles - literally billions of products you can promote as an affiliate, just naming a few for example ClickBank ebooks, Commission Junction, the Wealthy Affiliate program itself which is covered in great detail in the Affiliate Bootcamp, to JVZoo software, to anything you can find on Amazon.
And as there are a million different products that you can promote there are as many different traffic tactics to use, from Google SEO, to Facebook ads, and from email marketing to YouTube traffic.
But the key to success is in your ability to follow through on a task.
So in the learning process it might be best to start small - your first affiliate campaign can be setup in just a few minutes with a few simple clicks of the mouse. But get started and from then you can expand as aggressively as you want.
There are many people that make a very comfortable living in this business and do so only working a couple of hours a day or week depending on what your personal preferences are.

This validates why I am here...sounds so easy...but requires a lot of dedication..as you say, we must follow through. All the training helps us do that.

All on point Deb, there are those who will tell you it is easy, but it is a task to be successful but not an impossible one.
I am in trading and manufacturing and getting a customer is easy keeping a customer as a long term customer is a secret to the trade. Everything has shifted now in the digital world and affiliate marketing is the same, getting a customer is easy keeping him as a warm contact without annoying him is a real task to achieve.
That is true but how do we keep them? By knowing what they are receptive to. FEBE (Front End Back End) have suitable back end products be they upsells or additional products to offer them in the future.

That is very motivating to read, thank you Carl. I joined WA for interest and then thought, why not give it a go and create a website as everyone seems to say it is so easy, so I did! Compared to my day job which is very tying and hard graft (plus the responsibilities), this all seems very attractive. I cant quite yet get my head around the fact that people can earn a living from doing this, but I am keen to explore and keep working. Thanks again, best wishes from your number 1069
