Keeping A Customer for Life - Part Three

So how do we hold on to a customer one might ask. Well in my opinion it is never enough to sell a customer on one offer. That is why in a program like this here at WA we have what some in the online marketing would call an 'up-sell" for example here in WA that up-sell would be Jaaxy. A product that if a customer buys the membership here in WA you can make additional commission by offering them Jaaxy. first as a free trial and when they use the product and find its value they might likely buy and voila, another commission for you the marketer.

That is why the people who create the templates that we use to create our blogs often offer premium versions. That is why information marketers like in Clickbank and JVZoo when you make a purchase you have to refuse to buy related products or upgrades.

These up-sells offer an added value to the buyer.

Then of course as you get more and more related products that are either tied together by the writer or by you as a special offer (free bonuses for example) you can then after the purchase offer your customers similar products as what they had bought previously.

Myself I am a big fan of graphics creation tools and video creation tools and you know that every time a new improvement or new program comes out from any of these people that I have bought products from in the past is released I might get that launch offer from 4 or 5 affiliate marketers that I had made similar purchases from in the past. Now I may or may not buy the newest and greatest (after all when an improvement or better product is available it has to have new features and benefits) Yes or Yes?

The real key to successful online marketing is to be one of the first people that your customer would hear about the new product from. But you don't want to bomb them with every product that you sell as that is a great big turn off, but products similar to what they had purchased from you previously makes sense does it not?

This concept is also known as Front End Back End.

We all know that getting that customer to buy from you in the first place often requires much effort. But a customer is much more likely to buy from you when you have established a relationship or a rapport with them, a level of trust that you are bringing them yet another product or service that they can really use, well they might just reach for that coveted credit card again.

So as you pick out the products that you desire to affiliate with it is often smart to choose products that compliment one another.

Great information. Thank you

Did you miss me Cowboy? Someday I will explain my absence in great detail.... Much Luv brother.

Yea I did miss you.

Informative post, Carl, building that relationship is what it is all about. My inbox is filled with offers on a daily basis many folks all trying to sell the same product or offer. that is a good way to look at things aligning ourselves with products that compliment each other.

Thanks as always Alex for chiming in, and having a plan b or plan c is always a great idea. Yes or Yes?

Some days I am up to plan Z, one thing that I have kind of figured out is that nothing goes according to plan learning how to be adaptable seems to be the way to get back on track

so very true you have to be able to shift gears on a moments notice
