Being Courageous and a Better Life

Last Update: October 26, 2017

It is possible to establish your courage and live a better life. Of course once you establish your courage, you can and will begin to live a better quality of life.

It is the courage will help you to take the risks to a brighter future that you usually wouldn't take.

Yet by establishing courage, you are putting behind you any fears that may have prevented you from taking actions previously.

Courage and bravery sort of go hand in hand, and that is the basis for the process of admitting that you have dreads, yet you are willing and determined to find a way to defeat those fears and not let these fears take charge of your life.

Of course there are times when experiencing fears is not just acceptable, but down right necessary.

But, when you establish that courage, you will learn to self-direct your life. You'll learn to accept both the punishment and rewards that life has to offer graciously.

The courageous individual will frequently feel motivated to accept the blame or responsibility while critiquing their own actions and utilizing what they learn to move forward.

Brave individuals will step to the front, instead of shying away and stepping toward the back when opportunities come their way. At the same time however, a brave individual will step back and take a view at his or her errors gracefully and accept the consequences thereof.

We all know that an individual who is willing to better their life will relax more, knowing that they in fact do control their own destiny. This individual will relax even when plans fail. For example, if it stormed the next day the individual will find something else to occupy his or her time and feel just as happy about joining this adventure.

To be successful and better your life you'll need to learn how to trust yourself. When you trust yourself, you are able to trust others as well. It is however unfortunate that we live in a world where trust is difficult to find, yet when you trust yourself, you can’t blame other people when things go wrong.

Bettering your life includes the utilization of both your creative and critical mind. When you can dream and produce fresh ideas, you're off and running along the road to success. You have so many options in this world; but you must look within yourself to pull up these resources and to find those choices.

Occasionally in life, we might feel uncomfortable. In fact, this can be quite common.

But let me ask you a question before we wrap this up…

Are you willing to accept your irritations? Those things that may be bothersome and learn from the experiences?

For example, maybe at an interview you feel lost. But, are you willing to accept this irritation and discover a way to deliver a great speech to impress the interviewer? Or alternatively, are you willing to allow negative energies cost you the job.

As we come to this final conclusion. Acceptance is your key to happiness. When you are able to learn to accept the good with the bad, you are able to learn how to live a much happier and better life. If you can't accept then why not do yourself a favor and reread this post again.

So hope you have enjoyed this post and feel free to leave any comments below.

That's a profound statement. I never thought of taking responsibility as a courageous act, but in certain instances, it takes a lo of courage to accept your shortcoming, and those instances when you did less than your best.

Good to see you, Dr. Carl!!!
