Month 2 Done

Hello everyone, happy Sunday!
It's a month since I posted an update on my affiliate marketing journey, which is a couple of months old now. Feels a lot longer! The 'fruits of my labor' look a lot different than last time I posted, as my website has evolved to three websites. I realised (knew all along?) that my niche was very broad and popular and therefore saturated, but it was what I knew most about. So I have taken all my content and split it across the three websites, two that I am actively focused on and one lying dormant for now.

I did a lot of brainstorming on Coggle (mind maps work for me), moving around the topics under higher level categories. This allowed me to think about the target audience and develop the spin that I wanted to put on the content. I'm not sure I could have done this earlier - I needed to have some material to work with.

So the three websites now cover:
Website 1 - a social topic that I have a lot of experience with.
Website 2 - areas of research within my niche that I am excited about.
Website 3 - a personal topic on which I have a lot of experience.

This has given me the chance to play around with Wordpress and adapt the style of each website to suit the audience, which was fun. I'm learning how to utilise AI to help me but not do the work for me. I've also experimented with Canva and will have a go at producing reels when time allows.
