Make some noise, make some changes!

Hello everyone!

Today I found a blog from fellow WA colleague, VickiB58 about Amazon's payment tactics (Look up her "Update on Amazon doings" and other blogs; great informational reads). In the discussion thread, yet another WA colleague, SimonBorg (pbr...) also commented.

In addition to the great information Vicki and Simon brought to our attention, they made it all hit home by letting us all know the value of doing our homework, following up, speaking up, and sticking to your guns. So, to add to my colleagues' encouraging and strengthening words, I want re-emphasize that it is crucial that we always speak our minds. Make some noise, make some changes, and see the positive results.

The topic for today is:

The Squeaky Wheel Gets The Oil!

The the point I want to emphasize here is on speaking up. It's so important to be a Squeaky Wheel. I learned a long time ago that the squeaky wheel does get the oil and I've taught my children and grandchildren to always make some noise if they want to bring about any changes in their lives and/or if they want to be a strong and significant change-agent for the world.

If you feel you have been treated unfairly or that there is any injustice that you can speak to, do it! It's not only the right thing to do-making big business, government, or what-have-you accountable; it is what makes changes for the better. It empowers you, and assures you of confidence you inherently possess.

The world is not linear. Things are always changing; cyclical, and progressive. And yes, one person CAN make a difference.

If you question something and don't get an answer or aren't satisfied with the answer you get, continue to question until you get satisfaction. You may have to pick your battles and at times grudgingly back down, but always, always, always, make sure "they" know YOU have been there, and YOU HAVE HAD YOUR SAY!

It may be scary at first if you're not used to standing up for yourself, but realize and know undoubtedly that standing up for yourself and/or what you believe to be right is top 10 in empowering yourself.

Stand up for something, or fall for anything!

And with that being said, go and make your mark in the world my friends.

As always, thank you for reading my blog. Until next time...

Be well and at peace,

Carolyn "CeCe" Foster, MA

Thank you! And thank you for the response!

Stand up for something, or fall for anything!

Way true.
I support that thought.
