My First Month
During my first month:
I created a site using WordPress. it was weird for me starting with a template. I'm used to a blank slate - adding HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript using nothing but a text editor. It's easy to make posts, but I felt a lack of control until I found the CSS editor in my theme. I feel a little bit better about it now.
I met a lot of people and correspond with a couple of them regularly. There is no lack of encouragement from the community at large - something that I value since some Family illnesses and other weird stuff is going on in the background while I'm trying to learn more about affiliate marketing. This has been kind of an escape from the real world for me. I tend to take on a learning project to calm myself when I'm stressed out. If it helps me gain a foothold toward financial goals at the same time, all the better.
The marketing and content training has been very good, and I'm finally finished with Module 2. It's the one that told me to make a blog post. . . so here's my blog post.
Other life events happened that kept me from doing any more work than the first two modules in this month. I hope life settles down to a dull roar so that I can make it through to the end of Module 5 in the next month. . . and maybe some of the Affiliate Bootcamp.
Anyhow, that's my first month in a nutshell.
