40 Years Together

I just wanted to share a personal accomplishment; yesterday April 5th was my husband and my 40th wedding anniversary.

We not only celebrated 40 years together but we also celebrated Easter (Our Risen Lord) with our son and close friends in Missouri and was able to visit my mother for a few hours who also turned 94 April 5th(my mom and me)

. We traveled from Texas to Missouri last Thursday and stayed until Sunday; this time allowed us to visit family and friends. It is always sad when we have leave family and friends from Missouri to travel back home to Texas. But what makes it all worth while is knowing that our daughter and grand daughters are the joy for us coming back to Texas.

My husband and I watch our 15 month old granddaughter during the week and we are there for our 13 year old granddaughter to take her to school and be with her after school hours and to be their for school activities while mom and dad are working.

We have a lot to be thankful for, our family, friends, health and love for our God, and now with me joining WA I feel I have new friends and family that I can share my personal accomplishments with as well as WA accomplishments.

What a blessing God has given us in our 40 years together!
