It is all in your prospective
We live in northeast Ohio in what is called the snow belt (we get a lot of snow off of lake Erie)
After Christmas we came down to Florida to spend January with our son. At home these last few days they have had very cold temperatures -11 at one point and a lot of snow. The last few days It has been cold in Florida low 30's. If stayed in the 30's all winter in Ohio we would be happy. When my daughter said there was a winter storm warning my sons girlfriend ( born and raised in Florida} she never heard of such a thing. My daughter sent her a video of the storm.
Today it is in the 60's we were shopping many people had coats and hats on. My husband and I just had on a t-shirt. The news here said it is going to be cold {30's} the weatherman in Ohio said it was going to warm up to the 30's.
So like the weather WA and how you look at it is all in your own prospective.

I live in Michigan and lived in Ohio years ago. Yeah its cold so make sure to take care of yourself during these times. But I dont let it affect my mental state
And happy New Year to you. I'm here in Canada but on the West Coast. We had a bit of snow but really it is mild. Actually I live in the wine country so we have hot summers and not that cold winters. Hard to believe for most of you who don't live here in Canada.
We love it.
Exactly, it's a matter of perspective. 30's is also cold here in Texas because we have hot weather most of the time. That's why I freeze in this cold weather. I have to bundle up with layers, thick jacket, bonnet, scarf, mittens, boots...as warm as I could get. LoL. I bet you will be in your T-shirts here as well.
Great reminder of our prospectives. I am in Michigan and had to chuckle thinking of Floridians cold in the 60's.
The glass is either half full or half empty . It all depends on how you want to look at it .
