Hi Crystal, You've made a good start in getting your website off the ground. My question would be -who is this site for? Are you going to be looking a particular genre of books or movies? In order to make any suggestions - it would help to know a little more of where you would like to take it.
That's a great start, Crystal. I looked at your pages, they are appealing as they are. One page attracted me most, "Books." I was hoping to find short book reviews linked to the titles you have enumerated on your lists. This is a lot of work but I know it will be beneficial for your business.
I am not fond of reading and I don't know your classifications in terms of who would you like to read the books. It will be helpful when you have a more targeted audience. For whom are these kinds of books listed? This will help you determine where you are going.

aloha Crystal. There is wonderful help right here at WA. Kyle (yup, that is The Kyle... ) takes you thru the process step by step.
Look on the left side of this page towards the top. See the heading TRAINING, then click Certification Courses, then Online Entrepreneur Certification.
Not only is this training magnificent and designed with the newbie in mind, but it makes use of the Wordpress Express platform which is such a great way to build a website, and it uses website hosting at WA which you (as a Premium member) get unlimited use of.
Here's my own trick for learning-by-doing. I use two screens simultaneously. I have
a pc and an iPad. I listen/watch the training on the iPad, and when it says do xyz I pause the video and I instantly do the required step on my pc. I can still see what the iPad screen is showing me if I need to look at it again (and I often do!)
A lot of people just keep two tabs open on one machine and they toggle back and forth, but I like to actually see simultaneously on the iPad and do on the pc. Works for me.
One more idea. Create a "junk" website. Use a .siterubix.com URL. Use it just to play with. Many of us (me included) when we are new at something, are hesitant just to try something because "what will happen if I make a mistake?" First off, chances are huge that nothing awful will happen. And if you do mess up your junk site just delete the entire site and start another one. The practice in setting up a new one, is good.
