When you say you don't get a great response do you mean by those outside the internet world ? because I see you've been at this for about 5 or 6 weeks now and as I understand it, you shouldn't expect to many responses within the first couple months online as you're still building your site and it's still working it's way through the search engines. Stick with it and you will get responses in time, and then more and more...
It's a lot of work up front and then continued returns in the end.
You can do it, just do it at your pace but ensure you do even just a little something each day.

Maybe you need to take a little break I know when i got stuck and or overwhelmed i hat e to take a break. I was on the brink of giving up but Im so happy I did not. You can do this and theres no need to rush things. take your time..
