My Journey Thus Far
Holy Moly.... Only a 3 weeks into my WA membership and I am well impressed!

Like most people here, I started listening to loads of 'Get Rich Online Quick' lies, out of desperation more than anything. We all want to be online millions, but we all want it yesterday (me included)!
It was at this point that I stumbled across a blog post by a high ranking WA Member (nathaniel). He had a blog post reviewing a 'Get Rich' video I had just watched. I was impressed by his honesty and thus continued to read about his subsequent review of WA.
Considering it was free, I signed up straight away!

Completed the free training within 8 hours, I was really seeing the value here and I couldn't help but feel anxious about the ticking clock of 'Discounted Premium Membership' (only available for first 7 days). I really wanted to progress as I had built up some momentum already. So a few days later, I signed up to Premium!
Its amazing how busy and lively the community is. Every time we are urged to share our website or comment on others, the feedback is almost instant, at any hour of the day.
// My Site
I have so far created 1 website (HowToLowCarb.info) and just completed Course 2 Training (Building Traffic). I was apprehensive about right content but the lessons really help with that. I now had 6 or 7 'draft' posts in my site, just waiting to be finished. So I can easily keep generating timely content.
I must admit, I grew a little impatient at the fact that I had yet no revenue stream available on my site. So I jumped the gun a bit and signed myself up to Amazon Affiliate. I used a number of Amazon Affiliate links on my last post (earlier today) just to satisfy myself. I'm sure in later training lessons I will get tips on honing these links and getting the most out of them, but it feels good to finally be on the first step of the 'revenue ladder'.
// Hope, Dreams, Fears
In the next 3 months I really hope to have my site to a point that it requires minimal maintenance. Hopefully this will mean that there is (even a tiny, but steady) revenue coming from my site. After that, from what other people are saying, I believe it will be time to jump to another niche, and start building my Online Empire (lol!) After that the plan is:
- Quit Job
- Buy a Tropical Island (that has Broadband Internet!)
- Move to said Island
- ???????
- Profit
My biggest fear is disinterest! I don't want to give up on my site (or sites) before I give them a chance. I am sometimes impatient, so I hope I can stave off the urge to jump into something new too early.
