Three Cheeps for Grammarly
I have never actually bothered with Grammarly, After what seemed like a lifetime in proofreading and error checking while a printer, I didn't think I needed it.
However, I had a look at it this week, just to see what it is about. If you haven't come across it, Grammarly is a spellchecker, punctuation checker and all round good guy.
It is actually very helpful. Even if you are experienced in such matters, it is a good friend to have around. The little red lines appear together with an option. Change it as per recommendation, or leave it. Your call.
Surprising how the little errors slip in from time to time. A comma here, a typo there. Grammarly catches them all very efficiently. If English isn't your first language, then Grammarly can be a big help.
You can get excited and upgrade for £29 per month, but the free version will do for me right now.
I don't make that many mistakes.
Regards
Chris

A few years ago I was doing product descriptions through a FB friend and benefited from his paid version of Grammarly. Since I no longer work with this guy, I've downloaded the free version and it suits my needs just fine. Another program I like is called Hemingway and also has a free version.
Thanks, Sue. I will take a look at Hemingway. I always used to read his books. Best wishes, Chris
Hi Chris. Thanks for sharing. Is this a plugin for wordpress or something? or is it a standalone package?
