Crawling, excited to walk!

Just like giving birth and watching your baby get through the milestones - you are anxious to see them crawl and then walk, and finally run!

For me, I equate the crawl to seeing traffic, walking to referrals on WA and/or other affiliate programs and running, well conversations and sustainable revenue stream.

Just shy of 30 days with WA and I will say that I went into this past weekend with a bit of a slumped shoulder demeanor. I had two websites up that I thought looked pretty good (content wise) and a third I was playing with that I knew needed work ... I had built it, and no one was coming. I had listed them with Bing, had them linked to by G+ profile, etc.. Nothing.

Then Sunday something happened ... Bing started to notice me :-) I am getting organic traffic. My sites are slowly getting more traction each day! OK, not a ton to write home about, but enough to have this newbie sitting in her chair at a coffee shop doing a little happy dance and leave others wondering if I have had one too many shots of espresso in my drink.

You must crawl before you walk! So onto more content - to generate more interest, and more engagement. Yes, it is not quite 30 days, and Rome was certainly not built quickly either. Yet, seeing movement is rewarding.

Can't wait to see that next measure of ROI!
