Pandemic and work - What should I do about.

As I sit here at work, I can't help but be angry with my employer for using his control over me for jeopardizing my health during the current pandemic of the Coronavirus by making us report to work. It was released in the news yesterday that by midnight tonight, all employers that are non-essential services are to be

shut down to help prevent the further spread of of the virus. Having three small boys, who's immune systems are poor just like my own (genetics I guess and susceptible to anything that goes around) doesn't make things easy. Upon arriving at work today, it was explained that a letter, from the owner of my company, was sent to the government requesting that we be deemed to be "essential services" as we create devices used for medical testing. It absolutely infuriates me that the owner is so obsessed with greed, that he would rather risk the health of his own staff and their families health, then losing out on a dollar of his pay. I understand that what we create at my job is important to the medical industry, but by the time we make the product and have it shipped and installed it's roughly 6mo to a year before it can be put to use.

My day at work...

Today we spent the entire day cleaning as there was no physical work. How ironic! Can someone explain to be how this is helping prevent the spread of the virus if we work beside each other? We are told to keep a good 6ft in distance, but as a reminder, I currently do factory work and you can't hear standing 6ft away for multiple reasons. Not to mention that the World Health Organization informed that COVID-19 can stay in the air for up to 3 hours and for days on different surfaces. I work here as my full time job for the time being until my online business takes off. Which I'm hoping is soon!

We got the word today during our shift that we have to report for duty tomorrow morning as usual. Maybe someone can shed some light on what "Essential Services" means in Ontario because personally I believe it's lost its meaning. When there's a pandemic that is killing our citizens and the healthcare system is overburdened and only has enough gloves and N95 masks to last them 10 more days, due to the amount of patients grow exponentially, yet places like "Tim Hortons" is deemed essential?? The premier of Ontario, upon informing what places will remain open, one thing that absolutely blew my mind is that he deemed "The Beer Store" as an essential service??? Are you ****KING kidding me!? People are dying because of this disease, but it seems that even our leaders have forgotten or are too blind to see that there's absolutely NO reason to keep - of all places - the Beer Store open to the public during a pandemic. Not only did this announcement shock the majority of people who heard that there may be a lock down, but it caused many Ontarians to flock to the beer store, breaking the 6ft separation rule! Once again, more spreading of the virus that is absolutely absurd and unheard of. My co- worker told me that he purchased 13 cases of beer... Then found out they were deemed as an essential service and were going to remain open lol made me laugh lol

We have health care workers already running out of supplies and here we are further risking the spread of this lethal virus. Has the world gone absolutely mad? Or is there more information out there that we are not being given about the virus? Are we just too far infected that all hope has been lost by our leaders that they want to promote alcoholism because basically that's what it says to me. You can't socialize, don't visit with friends or family because you can spread the virus, but it's okay to drink at home by yourself? The crazy world we live in....

On another note..

I believe my fears may end up becoming a reality. As a smoker for approximately 15-20yrs, knowing this virus attacks the lungs, I know mine are definitely not the best. I fear catching this disease from my employment that could endanger my children which makes me feel more like I have my hands tied behind my back. I need to work, I need to provide for my children but my employer is choosing to stay open. I feel like I am being exposed unnecessarily. Yes I could refuse to go in, but what happens then? Will I still qualify for EI? Will I need doctors notes? Do I need to catch COVID-19 or see potential co workers due before my employer decides to step up and do something about it??

Why I chose to spend time writing this?

As stated above, I am working on my online business, and in a way still complaining about the current situation im facing. I started writing this blog hoping to talk about affiliate marketing, how I'm making money online and offer people the ability to do the same, but the more I worry about what my current health status is.. And the risk of getting COVID-19 as spreads around my area the more I get frustrated with the entire political system we have.

Back on topic..

Building a business online takes more work than I thought!!! LOL.. In just over a month now I've made some cash online.. Just I just found out it takes 3-6month to obtain a ranking with Google to get in the top 10 rank... Meaning first page of search result...meaning more traffic = more money.

The entire system I'm using you can use also.. It's honestly a great little platform that teaches you how to make money online and make a 6-figure income (with time obviously)... There so many good reviews on it, and hundreds of sign-ups everyday. Now that this pandemic is here, people are scurrying to find a way to make money online. Once again, everyone's shopping online so why not make a profit from it? Make a web site and let your sites traffic do all the work!
