So, recently I was given link and upon watching the video it sent chills through my spine. What is going on in the world today just seems like it's still not really setting in as it should be. I will start off by saying that I am from Ontario, Canada and am approximately 1hr drive away from Toronto which is where most of the cases of Coronavirus has been found due to the population density of the City. The hospitals around my area are only just starting to see the result of the spreading of the virus. Soon, I fear that our health care system in my area will be struggling to keep up with the mass influx of patients sick with this disease. Or is it a disease or something that the government knows of, yet are holding back to keep the rest of society from mass panic. That's up for you to decide, but regardless of the facts, we are definitely in this together. All I know for sure was that the last update on the Coronavirus in NY is that they are seeing roughly 5000 people dying on a daily basis. - Insane!

Coronavirus in NY

Already in the news you can see the make-shift hospitals on the streets in NY with the media reporting that it now looks worse then 911. How are we to keep up with the mass amounts of bodies on a daily basis? Freezer trucks are being sent to NY to store bodies upon bodies from what I've been hearing. One thing to keep in mind is that the bible reminds us "Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted" - Matthew 5:4

They shed their bodies and are now with the Lord watching us from above. Now, in a place where there is no hurt, no pain, where everything is perfect as can be. The bible informs us that the very best thing on earth, is the very least in heaven. The best way I can describe it, is that our bodies are like peanuts (yea, funny comparison I know) but I explain this to my kids so they understand. The outside shell is like our bodies that we shed upon death. The peanut inside is what truly matters - Our soul. We need to ensure we make things right with the ones we have issues with now before it's too late!

Matthew 5:22-24 - "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,' is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift." - - I repeat - It's time to make things right before we are too late!

I wanted to share this video that could put things into perspective for you. Things are not always what they seem. Maybe we are taking the right steps to recover. Or maybe we are just delaying the inevitable - But one thing is for sure - I'm definitely not prepared for what Tom describes in this video that's for sure.

Pretty crazy video eh? Not only was the lyrics pretty spot-on, but Tom MacDonald's portrayed image is pretty sick! Props to you Tom for keepin' it real! I'd like to know how he is doing right now and what he is doing physically to prepare for whats happening around the world. Is he just at home chillin' and watching the news like the rest of us or in a bunker somewhere waiting out this sickness until It's safe to come out. - Who knows!

M3 - Export of N59 Masks to Canada stopped.

For those of you who don't know, a well known company in the US known as M3 were to send a shipment of N95 masks to help Canada as our healthcare system is running short of supply (as is the rest of the world). This shipment was brought to a halt by Trump as they are informing that they need them for their country. I personally see things from both sides of the spectrum so I can't really say if this was the correct response as I too am only human. On one side, we have Trump looking out for his own people - Which I get. He is the leader of the United States and he is running a country in which he is placed in charge of keeping his people safe. On the other end of the spectrum, we have Canada who is a close relative of the US, and we currently have over 1000 doctors and nurses in America helping out with the mass amounts of sick patients and causalities swamping their hospitals. What would happen if all the Canadians came home and decided not to help anymore? M3 also fired back at Trump explaining that they obtain their materials from other parts of the world. If they (M3) decides to follow through and stop the shipment to Canada, all the other countries that supply them (M3) with the raw materials may retaliate and stop sending things to them. The point that I am getting at is that we are all in this together. We help each other, rely on each other and as far as I'm concerned, the United States is no different than Canada and vise versa. We are all like-minded people to some extent with similar values and beliefs. I think we need to look out for each other - Especially in this time if need. There is only one race - The Human Race. People also point a finger right now at China and a lot of blame is going their way as the virus started there. If this was something done on purpose, why would they be sending Canadians masks and helping us get our citizens back on track? We need to start being kind to everyone, regardless of their ethnicity or background. Two heads are much better than one. And if we all come together, we can stop this before we are too late.

Kindness goes a long way

Already I have seen random acts of kindness all over the news. I was watching how this photographer was going from house to house asking families if they would all be willing to come out on their front step for a free family photo in exchange for a donation to the local food bank. I see people going "live" on Facebook as a result of being bored, thinking of anything and everything to do with their children to keep entertained. So far I think society is learning a big lesson from this negative situation and making the best they can out of such a dark time. I do believe that more needs to be done to stop the spread of the virus as soon as possible for the numbers to stop increasing but I am not anywhere remotely close to being in a position to call those shots, nor do I want to be.
