Do You Have A Blogging Mixtape?

Typically when I write a blof related to my niche, I se the mood with some high tempo music or some classics like Queen or AC/DC.
I know that a lot of us have different styles, niches, and music preferences- so I was trying to get a feel for what a lot of you go for. The high temp or older rock music allows me to keep my adrenaline going and my mindset in a go go go mode.
Instrumental
I have dabled into some instrumental music, but it seems to slow me down or calm me down more-so than get my thinking cap going.
I have attempted to listen to a variety of different instrumental songs, ranging from 2 Cellos to guitar/drum collaborations. Is there a specific style that helps get your thinking juices flowing?
Rap/Hip Hop
I like the music to an extent, but it doesn't seem to work unless I am writing a negatice review on something.
I know a lot of lyric writers out there tend to listen to this style of music, but it has only really worked in terms of creating a mindset of writing a negative review on a product or service that I do not recommend to readers or consumers.
Country
This is odd, but I write really well when I have country on for my Wealthy Affiliate promotion site. I am not a huge fan of the music, but it gets the affiliate marketing promotion juices flowing on full blast.
Nowadays, country has become a hybrid of old country with a mixture of pop music, so there is a possibilty that it is making my mind thing old marketing with new affiliate potential? I have no idea....
Do You Have a Preference?
I am always open to try new styles or techniques with anything in life, so are there any that you all recommend?
If so, can you not only list it, but tell me when so I can give it a shot and see the positive outcomes if any occur?

I used to write many years ago ago & I always used music in the background. Had specif artists for different clients. I had damn near forgotten about that. I guess instead of helping you, you just helped me! Thank you!
Spotafy has a section called Focus, that has son nice instrumental mumusmumusic to play in background when reading or concentrating on writing. I use it all the time.
I love Spotify and how you can create playlists based on whatever genre you want. It is amazing!
When I write for what ever reason I do better with the old country like Willie Nelson, Oakridge Boys etc
When I write for my website reviews and stuff it is Jimmy Buffet

hmm... not really, but I am seriously addicted to the show Bones - and it is usually on in the background....
I love that show! But ever since Brennan and Booth got together and all that, it hasn't been as appealing as when they had that awkward love affair. Either way, great show!
Totally agree!! I do love when they go undercover though. Buck and Wanda. Tony and Roxy...Haha.
I am a kinesthetic learner, so while writing and or studying there needs to some stimuli. Music in the background, actively participating or chewing gum or something. Hands-on approach, movement, this allows me to process information and retain it.
Yeah, music helps me retain the information.

I like old school Country and the Beach Boys. But usually I just turn on the radio and listen to the Nascar races and since the season is over, I listen to the old races on youtube . My niche is about car racing and I am writing a story on my sight as well.
I like all kinds of music. My first love of music is old school hip hop. I just go crazy when I hear a old school hip hop song or mix. I have this app on this phone where I can get all kinds of music especially old school hip hop.
Sounds like a good app. I love the old school hip hop more than the current stuff, as the lyrics of old and classic beats are way more appealing than the autotune that exists now.
I just heard a song where I did not understand the lyrics. Back then I used to jam to the music. Now days I actually listen to the lyrics and hear what they say. Lyrics from old school hip hop are much better than today. I like old school r&b and classic rock as well.
If it was easy for me I would. Too much background noise from neighbors- they have 6 kids who are homeschooled and the parents seem to either be deaf or don't step in when the sound barrier is near breaking.
I tried that, but with my neighbors being....well not the quietest, I have to tune them out somehow.
