Best Halloween Movies
It's Approaching!
With Halloween nearing day by day, I want to see what everyone's take is on the best Halloween movies out there!
Whether you are a fan of the classic thrillers or some of the newer animated "happy" films, what are some of the movies you recommend?
Old Classics
Halloween (any of that series), texas chainsaw massacre, and the list goes on - are there any of this era that any of you recommend?
New Thrillers
There have been remakes of several old films, but are there any films out there that you recommend that are more thrill and less gore? I haven't seen any that caught my interest over the last few years, but I am sure there has to be something I missed.Kid Friendly
I have seen a lot of animated films or cartoons out there that spark the interest of many families. Whether it is a Dia de los Muertos movie or a simply Scooby Doo movie, I am curious as to what stands out in your eyes.
Not A Movie Fan?
If you aren't into movies, are there any TV series that come to mind? I know a lot of series do holiday episodes (specifically Christmas), but shows like Supernatural do Halloween episodes. Are there any out there that you recommend?
I am trying to find somethign a bit different this year compared to repeating prior things, so any input would be appreciated.

I agree Craven, I find the Gore movies more sickening than scary. I think that Scary + Funny = A Scream!
I've always been a Mel Brooks fan so "Dracula; Dead and Loving It" starring Leslie Nielson has always been a favorite of mine.
Also "The Frighteners" starring Michael J. Fox is a funny screamer. = 0
I don't think I have seen " The Frighteners", but it is now on my list!
