Getting clear on what my business is all about
I am sure I'm not the only one who has gone through this but right off the hop I struggled with every word I wrote in my blog posts. Now, I have a history of not believing in myself so this problem didn't surprise me. But, since the beginning of January I was really struggling.
I knew I needed to get clear so I haven't been blogging but I did go to my source. I don't pray but I did do some talking with God. I asked for guidance. For me, who was a non-believer for much of my life, that I was asking God for guidance was new. But, God doesn't keep score. He doesn't turn away because a year ago I wasn't on side with spirituality.
First let me say I never see my dreams. Never! Well, Wednesday, middle of the night, I hear a name. I woke up and realized I needed to remember that name, which I did. In the morning I googled that name.
I knew of this person. I knew he was an author and when I saw one of his more popular series, I remembered it, although I had never read it. But, on that Google page, was Begin with the end in mind. Begin with the end in mind. Yes. I had gotten off track. Money was never my end goal. Helping people live better lives has always been my end goal and that is what I need to go back to. Begin there, at the end. The name I heard was Stephen Covey.
Thank you God for showing me where I need to be to begin again.
