1.8 million words in one minute

Last Update: March 22, 2018

You're probably thinking WHAT???

Did you know that 1 minute of video is equivalent to 1.8 million words? This is according to one social media research company.

Yesterday I got my first No. 1 Google rank with a YouTube video lasting just over 1 minute long. Okay, the QSR was lower than a rattle snake's belly but it still ranked higher than all of the written articles. 1 minute long.

This video was created from one of my posts using Lumen5. Thanks to Karen for adding the training. Here is a link to it if you haven't seen it yet. Remember to press that like button.

Here are some more fun facts about the power of video.

If you are camera shy and prefer to stay hidden, with Lumen5 you can create videos from your articles and use that video in your post.

Try to mix it up a bit and don't use all the same words as your article. You can modify the content manually to make it more interesting and unique.

Good luck!

Plus, you can even upload your own media!

The only downside with the free version is the lack of quality wrt resolution and clarity of audio.

Seriously Grace, it's a brilliant tool. I was shocked when I saw how many views my videos were getting on FB. Much more engagement. I haven't checked CTR analytics yet, I've only started creating them.

Are you just posting on your FB Page or posting your videos in groups?

Just on my FB page. I don't have a big following but 40% viewed the video.

Can you imagine a FB Ad campaign? That's my next plan.
