Craig: I have had this problem before. What I found is that in my WP settings, I had asked WP to place something in this EXTRA space like a header or some other type of picture or graph. When I set it up and then didn't have the header, picture, or graph, WP simply added the space for me for future reference.
Go back in and check the appropriate settings you have created for your PAGES and see if there has been something created that you now want out of your website. You may have also set up some type of PAGE structure in your SEO plugin that you don't really want that would leave space at the top of your page.
I don't have the mind of a 16-year old. So as I go through and attempt to fix something in my settings (for one reason or another) I keep a little notebook just for setting changes so that if something doesn't work I can see what I changed and why I wanted to change it just in case I can't remember later what I did. Just an idea from an old dog. DAN
buddy, download MONOSNAP
it is a free app and very useful to you moving forward, I use it about once every 15 minutes, for all kinds of reasons, like this example here...
a picture speaks a thousand words after all!
A piccy of your website from my perspective - all done with monosnap in seconds and posted here for you to look at...
I pointed to the place I believe you''re referring to
is it the right place u r asking about?

Hi guys if I have a banner link on my page and I want to move the banner to another location on the page and copy and paste this will it still be a live affiliate link or do I
Hi Jay Thankyou ok so if the live banner is on my page at the top and in word press I copy and paste it to the bottom of the page and update are you saying it's not going to work as a live link that way?
C
Hi Craig,
You would need to replicate the same process on how you got that banner link on your page in the first place.
So, yes you need to copy all the code and paste it where you want.
