Hello! My name is Donna. I have been trying to figure out this internet thing since 2001. Can you believe it? That’s 14-15 years! I knew there was a way to make money online instead of giving all my money away online! Other people were doing it, why couldn’t I? I do not have a computer science degree; never learned the proper way to do many things on the computer but I still had my dream which finally became a reality!
I have been scammed so many times you would not believe. And money? Let me tell you: I have lost thousands on top of thousands of dollars! Until now! I’ve finally found the real deal. I knew it was somewhere out there, but where? The rip-offs and scams abound on the internet and very few people are ever held accountable. Soon people lose their enthusiasm and give up on that particular site feeling like they are the ones who had failed and feeling disappointed in themselves and ripped off.
I’ve always been told that I would find it when I was not looking. And, that is exactly what happened when I happened upon Wealthy Affiliate, an entrepreneur hangout.
When you finish with the courses, your new knowledge base and accomplishments make you feel like you do have a computer science degree and you can bypass all the technical stuff like writing code for example, that is so hard to learn.
You get mini rewards along the way, certifications, loads of encouragement & meet people just like you from all over the world and for some, have been down the same disappointing road. Even though the courses are available for you to learn at your own pace, you are also given 2 websites for you to develop (along with a very helpful video) to start making money almost immediately. There are hundreds of thousands of companies who need their products promoted online. Why couldn’t those promotions be by you? How great is that?
As you can tell, I am so excited about this wonderful Wealthy Affiliate site that I have found!

Hey Colin, The learning curve is very high for me it seems! Since I've never actually completed a WordPress site before, I'm just struggling right now. It will get better, I'm sure. I've decided to take my time & learn to do everything the right way but I constantly have to slow myself down! :0) Thanks for the offer of help but it would be on everything & nothing! Time is the answer.

Hi Donna! I found WA just as you dd. I googled another site for a review. I got my review but the review was written by a WA member. I clicked his and ended up joining!

It is EXACTLY how you should post.....to be yourself and write as if you are having a conversation with others......it is a shame so many of us have been scammed....but at least as marketers we have excellent examples of what NOT to do or be!

Hi Donna, Thanks for sharing. I am one of the rare few:) I did my homework and joined WA bypassing ALL those other " to good to be true" scams.
I never realized just how many people have
been ripped off with these scams but you can read it here over and over,so I am very fortunate indeed.

Hi Papi! You are very fortunate to have found WA instead of taking all those low roads first! I am so gullible & jump into almost everything if it sounds remote good & rationalize all the way. I get so aggravated with myself. Ha! I'm through looking though since I have found this great system/community that we have at WA. It all depends on me now & I have the help not only from Kyle & Carson but at a moments notice, the community. Good Luck to you & I hope you find much success! Donna
