I'm on course 3 now and doing well, but apart from the hosting, what is the point on staying as a premium member when you'll only need to ask a question occasionally which coul

Wa's platform and offering is ever changing they keep up to date, they also have wordpress sites which you can't find everywhere and their hosting is one of the safest platforms on the market. Your site is backed up daily which is almost impossible to find.
It's really easy to take the help here at WA for granted because it comes so freely and instant in most cases, that one question now and again if you don't have access to it could be quite a time waster if you end up searching on the net for it and the nice thing here is the answers you do get are constantly added to or challenged which you will have a hard time finding while searching for answers on the net, how will you know if they are the right answers not just a sales job .
Really if you take the hosting cost out of the equation for all the training, live chat , live webinars etc it's a very inexpensive learning platform. You're quite new to WA Ciaran there is much more to WA than the 10 step course that you are currently enrolled in, that's just the start! That's just a quick answer to your question hope it sheds a little light on the topic, cheers Mike.

Just keep building your site add content. Soon you will be able to stay on as premium and make an income! Best of success!

I guess it depends on how you use Wealthy Affiliate. I have been involved in online marketing for quite a few years now and I know how quickly things can change. I for one am using WA as a way of keeping in touch with the latest changes in SEO as well as getting ideas from others about evolving my site.

I think one of the biggest things I get from the membership is a bit of inspiration. The people here really help me keep motivated.
But at the end of the day, there is nothing stopping you from moving on after completing the training.

Thanks for the input, I'll be buying the year in 3 weeks (when my first months over) and after the year, if I've managed to get 10x the price (£2500 in the year) I'll definitely stay, mainly to save the hassle of migrating domains, and I do like the social side, but if I don't get 2500, I'll have to seriously think about the second year because as a student £250 is huge.

But so far, I'm loving the site and have no plans on leaving.

Another reason for staying is for the website hosting. WA is hosted on fast, reliable servers that are constantly monitored and backed up on a regular basis, and the price beats all other quality hosting sites. When I say "quality", I don't mean the dirt cheap hosting sites out there, which are generally not fast or reliable.

Yeah, that's the main reason I see, but £250 for hosting isn't cheap so I was hoping I could get more justification
(Again, I'm trying to not make this sound negative, it's just quite expensive to me, I'm not knocking WA)

It is really good. I know its a lot of money, but hopefully you will reach your goal and be able to stay on.

Hi, i hope someone can help me here!

Say i'm making (for example) a movie review site, and i want different categories like old movies, new releases, classics etc. Each o

Hi Ciaran not sure if this answers your question but you can have as many categories as you like I have a theme where I have them listed in my side menu I have different categories which I can put whatever posts under that I like. You could do a category called reviews ( new releases) you can even set it up so when a person's mouse hovers over it it gives the reader a description like " the latest reviews on In theater movies" for example. You can set categories up right in the edit menu when you are doing the post don't need to go into the dashboard menu. Hope that had some of what you were looking for, cheers Mike.

Thanks mike, not quite what I was looking for, but you gave me a fantastic idea for my website!

Is there any way to put the category at the top alongside the home and about me pages links?

Not sure on that one but you should watch the webinar on what you want in your header and how people navigate your site can't off the top of my head remember the webinar but it had to do with making sure the most relevant stuff was in your header. People click from right to left and first and last items get clicked on the most might be a good idea to watch that one if you have time I found it very insightful, cheers Mike.

I'll find it tonight. Thanks for the help, mike!

Doing trainings takes a huge amount of time and pays nothing for your time. I had stopped blogging and doing trainings but this topic comes up so much I think I will do a few more trainings. Yes it is possible. The easiest may be with links. Watch for my training. It takes a week or so to do a training.

I didn't want to post this due to the sheer number of similar questions, however I couldn't find any with straight forward answers. (albeit, I only searched for 5 or so minutes) so apologies!

completely possible --- lots of ways to do it
links on pages
submenus
thumbnail pages
ALL is possible
just research it
keep working on it
