Rank Update - My Highest Yet Was 7772

Hello fellow members,
When I first started out on Wealthy Affiliate, I didn't pay much attention to my rank. As I've gone through the core training on here and completed the tasks, I noticed that my rank kept climbing up. It used to be around 27000. Now the highest it's been yet is 7772.
I must be doing something right. Here's some of what I've been up to:

I've asked 1 question. This is my 5th post on Wealthy Affiliate. My network is currently at 72. I've completed all 5 levels of the core training. I've commented in a few threads and posts, including the Give and Take Comments thread. I've answered a few questions.
My writer level is 5 out of 5 because of how much I've written for my website GiantsWithin.com
I haven't provided any training yet for the community. For anyone that has provided training, is it simple to do that? How did you identify what to provide training for?
I see ranking as an encouragement to contribute more to the Wealthy Affiliate community. Does it serve any other purpose besides that?
