A Little About Me
Today I stopped into Ubiq, which is a popular Men's boutique that curates really nice Streetwear. They house brands like Staple and Stussy, which are very popular in the Hip Hop and Urban Community. Ubiq collabs with big brands ... okay ... wait ... what the heck!!!
I am like a robot sometimes!!! I was giving y'all the wrong content and tone - dang!!! I been in the lab so much, I forgot this blog is more like a journal - reminiscent of how blogs were when blogging first took off in the early 90s.
Anyway ... after work, I stopped into Ubiq. I wanted to know if I was allowed to take pictures of their store and in their store with my actual camera and they said, "Yeah!" This is a huge success because it's kind of my niche! Pictures are kind of challenging to me. I don't like copyright infringement stuff and I really do not want to know that thousands of people already downloaded an image I am using ... so, I snagged a few pics and in doing so was able to generate some content ideas.
At any rate, I wanted to say that WA is really awesome and when I say WA I really mean you all! Seriously ... every waking moment I am on this platform, training, connecting, writing, and helping ... and I am happy about it, I feel fulfilled.
It's like you all are my friends. I knew I was a weirdo the way I was talking about you all at work with a girl who expressed having a poetry blog. Oh yea, I do offline campaigning as well. I was gushing with excitement and not over the prospect of making loads of money but about the people and how genuine you all are.

Thanks for this wonderful stream of consciousness -- you really are a poet! :) Yes, I know, the community here is awesome, isn't it? I find myself smiling more since joining WA.
Gosh I wish I was a poet. I've written 3 poems in my entire life. They were amazing, lol, but in each instance I had either a powerful epiphany of some sort or I was insanely inspired. The poet in me isn't triggered that often. I am okay with that. I like writing articles and creative writing. One of my coworkers is a poet and I was telling her how we, here at WA, could empower her. Poetry is an awesome niche. She'd get a grand reception.
More than anything, thank you for appreciating my post. I forgot the terminology, "stream of consciousness" ... I was delirious with exhaustion when I wrote that so in essence that is exactly what it was. I love that kind of writing when you just let it flow. That is how I first started and it is always refreshing and a bit nostalgic to return to that style of writing.
