My New Post Was Indexed in Google in Two Days!

Yesterday, I received a notification from Wealthy Affiliate stating that my most recent post- Online Dating Affiliate Programs was indexed in Google! Why am I so excited? I mean on my 2 year old niche website I have no problem getting indexed within an hour. But, that is not the case for my Super Affiliate website which is only 5 months old. I still have posts that are 3-4 months old that still have not indexed. On the average, my Super Affiliate posts that are indexed, have taken about 2 months to do so. So this is why I am super excited! Two days!

It Has Been Quite Hard Lately

I have been feeling quite defeated these past few months. All of my children have recently left the nest which has left me with melancholy. We have also been having one thing after another go wrong with our house. I keep plugging away though!

It has also been extremely hard for me to write about affiliate marketing. In fact, this past post that I am referring to, took my 5 days to finish. Five long days but 3800 words and I finished it ! Yippee!

Oh, it really is the little things that can bring your mood up, isn't?

Online Affiliate Dating Tidbit-

For those who are interested, there is great potential for high commissions in the online dating niche. For example, on one of the millionaire matchmaking sites, if you were able to get a millionaire to sign up on the platform, you receive a 2000 (USD) commission! Does anyone know any millionaires?

An Idea of Why I Might Have Been Indexed So Fast

I am not totally sure, but before I published this post, I received a month SEMrush report on my site. It stated that my links were not clickable, or hard to click on a mobile device.

My next move was rather that have a text link to each affiliate program, I would make a big red button. So big, in fact, that a finger would have not problem missing it.

I use Da Button Factory and there are many tutorials about making Call to Action buttons on Wealthy Affiliate if you would like more in depth information.

Just make sure that you click on the "open on a new page" box while editing. This will save you so much time, so you do not have to go back and do over 100 all over again (like I am doing now ;-) )
