So, how is everyone coming along with the Super Affiliate Challenge? I am slowly creating content, but I want to give a big THANK YOU for the suggestion of setting up posts within Site Content beforehand.

Feeling Confident in Site Content

I was up for the challenge with coming up with keywords, and in fact, I went a little crazy and came up with over 200. Because of this, I now have 13 posts outlined and ready to add content to, that is, after I research a bit.

With so many keywords to utilize, I have tried to choose the best one to concentrate on, but also making sure that I include other related keywords as well. This has help me immensely, in terms of researching and adding valuable content that others are seeking.

Adding Images

With my niche website, I had no problem coming up with photos as I personally have tens of thousands; though this is not the case with my Super Affiliate site. I found a few resources that help me tremendously!

Free Images!

If you are looking for major corporation logo's that you are allowed to use for free, may I suggest to you Google Advanced Image Search!

All you have to do is put in the keyword that you are looking for and then go down to the very bottom to the usage rights and pick "free to use or share." As a rule, I will give credit if there is one to give, and I always state 'free-image' in my alt text. I am not sure if that is correct, but that is what I do.

A few more that I found that are also free are:

Unsplashed.com

Great Theme I Discovered!

I also wanted to share a great Theme that I discovered- OceanWP! I am setting up a website for my brother-in-law and came across this theme and I love it!

Earlier, I was learning how to use the Elementor Page Builder and it was suggested that this theme works great with it.

It has been a slow learning process, that is for sure, but I am learning!! Here is a great tutorial if you would like to check it out. He uses a different theme, which has a lot more features as it is a premium theme, but the basics are the same.

So here is my update, and it is now time to get back to work! Good luck to you all and have a wonderful day!

my pleasure, Michael!

Hi Colleen,

Thanks for the info', and you seem to be at a similar stage to me in your website development.
The more I'm getting into this business, the more the processes become natural. Things are steadily slotting into place.

I've noticed a lot of people seem to be stressing over the amount of time it takes for them.
Which is a self-fulfilling prophecy if you don't have realistic expectations.

Meaning:
We should never compare with others (which I did at the start) because it creates a conflict in your particular systems. And knowing that everyone's lives are different makes for unrealistic comparisons.

Hope this makes sense (if it does, explain to me) haha

Cordially
Dedo

Thank you, Dedo, but it is hard not to compare when others can write content so much quicker than me. But, I agree with you; we all have our strengths.
One thing that has helped with my confidence with writing was because of a Grammarly Report I was sent last week. It said that since I have been a member (Sept, 17), I have written over 5.4 million words! So no one can claim that I haven't been writing anything.
Thank you again for the encouraging words! Good luck to you!

You are doing really well, agree regarding Site Content, have mine laid out, which means I can have a change of post if I get a little stale on the one that I am working. In fact all content is now complete on thirteen articles, just got to add the media.
Could not get on with Elementor!
Regards
Stuart

Congratulations Stuart that is awesome that you have completed so much! Elementor gets more comfortable with each try; it takes a lot of practice and patience, especially for someone who is not that familiar with the computer. There are many YouTube videos to help, though. Good luck to you!

Not to bad with a PC, just get a little confused, lol.

Forward progress is always nice to read about.
Congratz, keep on going. I have another tool that you may find useful. It is free and you don't even need to register. I think of it as the equivalent of Jaaxy but for photos.

https://tineye.com/

I use this tool every time that I use any photo from any site. The way it works is that when you find a photo that you wish to use, right click on it and click "copy image address". Then paste that into the search bar on TinEye, give it a moment or two and it will tell you how many times that particular photo has been used along with which sites are using it.

I always strive for low numbers, 50 or less and several times, have found some that have been used less than five times. Can make a difference for your site.

Thanks for the tip PoppaJoe! I will have to check that out!
