First website
I was a bit shocked to see that it was already over one and a half year a go since I joined WA. I knew it was quite a while already but this long?
When I joined WA I was enthousiastic and motivated. But fast enough I got stuck in the process mainly because I had trouble choosing a niche. I was always fascinated by the internet marketing niche. Although I didn't make any money I am quite sure that I knew a lot more then the average newbie. But yeah, for some reason I found it weird to create a website about making money online without doing it myself.
To cut a long story short, I put my online ambitions a side for a while and left WA. Simply because I dont want to pay for something I dont use. I always kept it in the back of my head though. I knew that if there was one place to start making money online it was here.
About two months ago I rejoined WA. I havent been around a lot but that was because I was writing for my new website. I put the idea of it being weird that I would create a website about making money online aside.
There were actually quite a lot of things I could tell about making money online. Especially to starters. I could tell them about my mistakes. I could develop some kind of niche determination tool to help people out were I went wrong in the past. I could help people set up their website. I think I can also help people improving their writing skills in the future. And more.
I remembered the WA bootcamp. Obviously I want to send people here. It would be their best option in my opinion and yeah, also because of the money. So I started writing.
At one point I wrote an article about possible ways to make money online. Sure, I didnt had any real experience with them but I know they work. I wrote about micro niche sites and pay per click programs amongst others.
I already wrote something like 20 posts for my new website when I came to this point. Then I thought; it's nice to write about it but why shouldnt I just test it right away? I mean, it would be nice to show some real proof about how to make money online instead of only writing about it.
First, I wrote 6 articles for a micro niche site, also about making money online. I wasn't really into researching a whole different niche back then. I was planning to add 4 more articles over time, put Adsense on it and see where it goes.
At the same time I did some research about pay per click sites. I heard of them before but I didn't thought this could make you serious money. I was wrong.
I found this site called Neobux. After looking around their forum I was quite stunned how much some people had money over their time there. The nice thing about Neobux is that you can rent referrals there. It takes time to make serious money but I think it's possible.
After a few days I thought; Why not write about my Neobux progress on this micro site I created. And then I thought that I probably can use the posts I have already written for this blog as well. My website was born.
I still think there is a lot of improvement left for my blog. It doesn't look bad but I would like to make some changes. I am no Wordpress novice but no expert either so I leave this for later. I might need some help with this.
The other thing I would like to improve is the styling of my posts. That's something I will need to pay more attention to when I write in the future. But all in all I am pretty satisfied with how things stand now.
Now it's time to get more active in the WA comminuty for me again. I want some activity on my website and maybe some feedback. Hopefully I will be able to help some other people also.

Hi Colin, I'm looking at your site right now and had a : at the top of the page you have a picture of the Neobux logo, was wondering if this is supposed to be a link/affiliate link; wanted to point out two small spelling mistakes under your Neomathics paragraph, second line 'That’s why we are going to do some maths' math shound not have an s, next line should read 'standard member' not 'sandard member'.
