The first steps
After feeling stuck in my current job for a while, lacking security and motivation, it was time for a change, new direction.....something, anything! I have always enjoyed working from my laptop in a cafe or airport on the slim opportunities I have had to do so, and started to crave this lifestyle more and more. As an avid skier and surfer who couldnt wish for the freedom to work where the elements may take you?
As I set out to achieve this lifestyle (trying to find some kind of starting blocks), I did the regular google search that I'm sure a lot of people have done 'how can I make money online'. The regular casino scams came up (not that I knew it at the time) along with many get rich quick schemes. One particular website jumped out, an affiliate marketing education site, not going to name names, but it wasn't WA. I signed up, paid money straight away and started learning. It all started off well and they provided some excellent content, however to get any true value out of the site and there strategies, better learning etc, more money was of course needed. I am keen to learn and invest in marketing, however I wasn't willing to just keep plowing money into a site, that to be honest, I could probably learn off YouTube. There was nothing extra that grabbed me and made me want to invest my very hard earned money.
Roll on google search 2! This time I ended up on a web page talking about working online 'scams', that just so happened to have a section that listed Non Scams, top of the list was WA. Of course after learning a little about affiliate marketing I knew this person was a promoter. However he sold me with the word FREE! So I signed up, and wow did we get a lot for free.
I intend to write about my experience over the first few weeks and have started a vlog from day one, but the one thing I have to say is that I have gone premium already. The main reason for this is because of the community! There is so much help, advice and great knowledge.
I've really written this short blog to say thank you to everyone who has welcomed me, and answered my questions so far. I'm not sure some of the WA members know exactly how inspiring their words are to those without a clue!
