Street Articles?

Okay so this might be obvious, but what is the point of writing for Street Articles? Why are we putting content on a website other than our own? I'm not criticizing, just looking for some motivation. It's hard for me to come up with content that includes over 400 words.

You need only write 2 articles for street articles and the point is that you put a couple of links into an article leading people to your own site. This can be of value for a new site.
Why are you struggling with 400 words.? You need to do that for posts on your website, as that it the sort of accepted length that Google likes.
I'm taking the lessons, and I've written like two or three so far and they're asking me to write more...
I'm not very good with writing. But I will keep in mind that Google likes that type of content. Thanks
